Angela Molina: actress










Ángela Molina Tejedor (born 5 October 1955) is a Spanish actress, and a daughter of Antonio Molina, Spanish singer and actor.
Molina studied dance and theater art in the Escuela Superior de Madrid. She rose to international prominence after starring in Luis Buñuel's last film That Obscure Object of Desire.
In 1985 she became the first foreign actress to win the Italian cinematographic David di Donatelloprize. She was awarded the Best Actress prize at the Donostia-San Sebastian International Film Festival in 1987 for her role in Half of Heaven. She was also repeatedly nominated for the Premio Goya — Spanish cinematographic award.
In 1999, she was the Head of the Jury at the 49th Berlin International Film Festival.[1]

Si affermò nel mondo della moda all'età di sedici anni, è stata eletta Miss Spagna nel 1965 diventando celebre in tutto il mondo. Partecipò ad altri concorsi di bellezza come Miss Universo 1965, e in Miss Europa giunse terza (damigella d'onore). Nel 1973sposò il cantante di origine tedesca Carlos Bernardo Tessmar e i due decisero di trasferirsi in Italia, a Milano.[1]
